Memorable Quotes

Though we can never leave life without experiencing some measure of loss, grief, and pain, misery is optional--as is happiness.

Beverly Campbell

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything you gave me."

Thought I better share some good news. I finished my first UFO of the year. I'm not sure if this really counts for me because I think you have to have some of it cut out to qualify as a UFO. I've had the fabric for the table runner for awhile but didn't have any of it cut out. At this point....I'm just happy that I finished something.

This pattern is called "Simply a Pleasure." It is by Nicole Chambers. I quilted some cherries on the black squares.

It is quick and easy to make. Now on to bigger UFO's.

So cute! I think I recall you showing me the fabrics for that one. IMO--(which you already know)--if it is a set of coordinating fabrics set aside for that specific project, it counts as a project that's been started.

Congratulations! Being as sick as you were - I am surprised you even ventured into your sewing haven. :)

What an appropriate title! :) I'm really excited to see all your UFO's you're working on get finished! I think you'll be so happy when they are! (Although, they can NEVER be completely allllll done)
