At this point we were looking at the ocean trying to see whales. We had seen some the night before but, alas, none were to be seen. Before this we had been laughing at the seagulls.
It seems that even seagulls have a "pecking" order. As we watched the birds land it became obvious that the young ones (dark colored) knew that they were not to land among the older birds.
This was taken as we were first driving by. The dark spots are the young birds.

I could have added many more sunset pictures but you get the idea. The pictures take me back to the peacefulness of that evening. I love the ocean...actually the whole earth. We are truly blessed to be living here.
There will be more vacation pictures later. (Just a warning!) Eleven of us stayed for the whole two weeks with fifty seven that stayed part of the time and twelve that came for day visits. Of the fifty seven, twenty seven were kids! It was a great family time. There were four multi-generational families involved and two single generation.
