Memorable Quotes

Though we can never leave life without experiencing some measure of loss, grief, and pain, misery is optional--as is happiness.

Beverly Campbell

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything you gave me."

I'm still working on my sewing/quilting room. It is definitely looking better.

There is actually a little room left on some of the shelves. That won't last for long.

Is that floor I see?

Yes, but it didn't last for long. This picture was taken about an hour ago. The floor is covered again because I'm going through boxes and containers of fabric that have been given to me or I had stored somewhere. I'm actually getting rid of some fabric that is poly/cotton or I know I won't use. My room will never be "neat as a pin" but is getting more organized. I'm just not an "A" type personality.....more like "zzz" type personality. My sewing machine is in the shop getting serviced so this is really a good time for me to be doing this. I have found about ten or fifteen quilts that I want to sew but I put them all back on the shelf. I'll find them again....later.
